ABOUT
SafeGround was formed in December 2025 after two years of careful planning and community reflection. Our mission is simple, yet deeply impactful: to provide consistent, year-round support to individuals and families experiencing homelessness and low-income in Robeson County. We serve the unhoused and low-income community by offering food, essential supplies, and compassionate support—meeting people where they are while restoring dignity and hope.
SafeGround is also committed to empowering young women and men ages 14+. Through educational and career-focused support, we assist participants in obtaining a high school diploma or GED, building career-readiness skills, and accessing certifications and trade opportunities that lead to sustainable futures.
At SafeGround, we believe safety, stability, and opportunity should never be a privilege—they should be accessible to all.
